1. Ordinary Members – Annual Subscription for 2007 due.

Ordinary Members are reminded that the sum of S$30/- being annual subscription for the calendar year 2007 is due and payable by 31 Mar
2007. The following modes of payment are available:

By cheque: Make your cheque payable to “The Oxford & Cambridge Society of Singapore”. Write your Name, Purpose of Payment and
Contact Phone Number at the back of the cheque. Mail to “The Secretariat, The Oxford & Cambridge Society of Singapore, c/o 10 Shenton Way, #13-02 MAS Building, Singapore 079117”.

By internet banking: Pay online directly into the society’s new DBS bank account No: 118-901243-6 and email to membership@… stating your Name, Payment Amount, Date and Time of Payment, Purpose of Payment and Contact Phone Number.

For registrants who have submitted a Member Update Form or a membership Application Form within the last six (6) months and whose details are still current, please state your Name, College, University, Occupation and Contact Phone Number.

For all other registrants, please state your Name, College, University, Degree, Matriculation year, Subject, Occupation, Membership Status and Contact Phone Number.

If you are an Oxbridge Society member and inviting a Guest, please state the Name, Occupation and any relevant information of your guest.

If you had previously registered your interest to attend this event, please provide your details as indicated above and re-confirm by the deadline to secure your seat reservation.

Seats will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Registrants with confirmed seats who later find themselves unable to attend are kindly requested to cancel promptly so that their seats may be released for allocation to others on the waitlist.

Prof McKendrick has held a number of major administrative roles within the University – including Chair of the Law Board and Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Faculty of Law. Prof Mair is Professor of Geotechnical Engineering and Head of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Cambridge. He is also one of the founding Directors of the Geotechnical Consulting Group, an international consulting company with offices in London and Hong Kong. He has advised on numerous civil engineering projects worldwide, specializing in underground construction. He currently advises the Singapore Government on design and construction aspects of all their underground metro and road tunnels. He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering in 1992 and awarded the Gold Medal of the Institution of Civil Engineers in 2004. 5. Membership Matters – Registration Required

All subscribers to the society’s email circulation list are encouraged to register early to avoid disruption to their email subscription. Email addresses that are not matched with duly completed forms may be removed from this Email Circulation List without notice.

Your kind understanding and co-operation to help the society to maintain updated and accurate records will facilitate the organization of events for alumni and the provision of benefits to members.

Members whose application forms had been submitted prior to 2004, or whose particulars have changed, are kindly requested to submit a Member Update Form.

Non-Members eligible to join as members can consider whether to submit a Membership Application Form (For Life Membership) or a Membership Application Form (For Ordinary Membership).

Non-Members who are not eligible to join as members or who do not wish to do so may submit a Request For Subscription Form. (Members need not submit this form).

Forms can be downloaded from the home page of the society’s website at http://www.oxbridgesg.org. If submitting via email, please remember to type your name in the Signature field of the form. If you have difficulty accessing the website, please email to the Hon Secretary for assistance.
